Akatsi South, Volta Region – In a move that has been widely anticipated, Lawyer Bernard Ahiafor, the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) for Akatsi South, filed his nomination to reseek re-election in the upcoming December 7th, 2024 polls.
The filing ceremony, which took place at the Akatsi South Constituency office of the Electoral Commission, was attended by enthusiastic supporters, party executives, and well-wishers.
Lawyer Ahiafor, who is seeking to retain his seat on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), was led to the filing ceremony by the party’s Constituency Chairman, Mr. Anthony Kwadzo Owusu, Secretary, Hon. Daniel Dagba, Deputy Treasurer, Mr. Daniel Gidi, Elections Director,and some key officers of the party.
In his remarks, Lawyer Ahiafor expressed his gratitude to the people of Akatsi South for the opportunity to serve them, highlighting his achievements and the transformative impact he has made in the constituency.

Lawyer Ahiafor’s nomination was certified in under 10 minutes, a testament to the party’s efficiency and preparedness.
