Michael Essien’s luxurious properties in East Legon and Trassaco are set to be auctioned, according to a report by the Daily Guide sighted by InsiderGH.com.
On June 12, 2024, the Deputy Sheriff of the High Court (Commercial Division) issued the order for the sale of these high-value properties.
Located at Stephen Quarshie Crescent, East Legon (House Number 9), and Trassaco (Phase 2), Adjiringano (House Number 204/205), both properties are situated in Accra.
An anonymous auctioneer revealed that one of the properties is valued between $20 million and $30 million.
Michael Essien’s illustrious football career began in France with Bastia, before moving to Olympique Lyonnais. His exceptional performances caught the eye of Chelsea, where he became one of the highest-paid players in the Premier League.
During his tenure at Chelsea, Michael Essien secured numerous accolades, including Premier League titles and a UEFA Champions League trophy.
The former Ghana international also played for prestigious clubs such as Real Madrid and AC Milan, earning worldwide recognition for his midfield dominance.
