In a post shared on his official Instagram account, Dumelo expressed his excitement over his wife being called to the Ghana Bar, and congratulated her on her new title as “Mrs. Gifty Mawunya Dumelo Esq.”
“Congratulations my love @missgeeonly for being called to the Ghana Bar today,” he wrote. “You are now Mrs. Gifty Mawunya Dumelo Esq”
A clearly proud husband of his wife’s accomplishments, John Dumelo announced that he is already lining up cases for her to tackle.

Little is known about Gifty Mawunya Dumelo who enjoys keeping her personal life very private, however, the little sister of seasoned actress, Selassie Ibrahim and best friend of Nadia Buari was a Ghanaian lawyer based in the United Kingdom prior to her marriage to John Dumelo.
A graduate of Central University, she also holds a Bachelor of Law degree from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and her current achievement has been praised by many as a significant milestone for women in the limelight.
