Members of the New Patriotic Party at Kwaprow in the Cape Coast North Constituency in the Central Region have declared their intention to vote the area’s incumbent Member of Parliament, Hon. Kwamena Minta Nyarko again into power for his splendid projects executed at the community.
These members of the elephant fraternity outlaid this after the National Democratic Congress (NDC) MP had cut rope to inaugurate a newly designated taxi rank for the community.
Speaking in an interview with Sompa News Eric Annan after the inauguration, residents of the community thanked the MP for his effort in providing the area it’s first ever taxi rank.
They eulogized that the taxi station will be of immense benefit to the community, most especially to its traders whose work routine requires them to leave the house very early in the morning to return late at night.
NPP affiliated members of the community in relaying their profound gratitude to the amiable Member of Parliament for his facilitated projects in the area, asserted to vote for him yet again in the 2024 general election should he continue his social intervention and developmental projects for Kwaprow.
Chairman for the Kwaprow Co-operative Drivers Union, Mr. Thomas Ackon having thanked the MP for the taxi rank, urged residents of the community to patronize cars at the station in other to have their leftover items received without any stress other than patronizing roadside cars.
Hon. Kwamena Minta Nyarko on why he facilitated the establishment of the taxi rank amid all that the community had requested of him, said to have been receiving series of complains from urban roads over how cars are been parked beside road stretches in the community.
Consequently, in other not to have these cars often parked beside the road cause accident, discussed the issue with the chief of Kwaprow, Nana Kwesi Mensah lll who without hesitation provided a land for the project by pleading on some individuals of the area to let go portions of their land for the general good of the community.
Among other projects the MP disclosed to have carried out in the community to be receiving accolades even from the opposition half, noted to have facilitated the established of the area’s only Chp Compound, road, school support initiatives, among others.
