The outpour of congratulatory messages to the newly elected General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Hon. Franklin Fiifi Fiavi Kwetey is far from over.
Latest to have joined the tall list is the overlords of Nogokpo in the Ketu South Constituency of the Volta Region.
In a press release date December 21 and signed by Amuzu William Agbodzalu, the spokesperson of the overlords, they extended their warm congratulations to their Former Member of Parliament on his Victory at the just ended 10th National Delegates Congress.
According to them, “Fiifi Fiavi Kwetey is our son from Nogokpo and he is one of our brave Warriors from the land.”
“His Victory as the next General Secretary of NDC party is welcome news and we shall solidly be behind him both physically and spiritually to perform his tasks without fear to rescue Ghanaians from the current hardship,” the release stated.
They further appealed to the leadership of the NDC and other Nogokpo citizens at home and abroad to extend cordial relationship with him[Fiifi Kwetey] to deliver, to the interest of the NDC party and Ghanaians.
They also congratulated othe newly elected national executives of the NDC.
“We also call on you to cooperate with our Warrior and the General Secretary of the Party to move the party to the better place which Ghanaians want at this critical moment,” the statement added.
