Dr Charles Dwamena, Ghana’s former Deputy Ambassador to China, has stated that if the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is able to implement a well-decentralized business incubation fund and a human resource empowerment program to assist Patriots in various constituencies, grassroots apathy will be a thing of the past.
On Friday, October 8, Dr China, as the former diplomat is known, spoke at the 2021 Bono Regional Annual Delegates’ Conference held at the Sunyani Technical University. He urged party members to put the Party’s interests ahead of all other considerations.
“…with a united front and a stronger Party that is financially sound, the New Patriotic Party can easily win the 2024 elections and continue to build a prosperous Ghana,” he stated.
He emphasized his fervent opinion that only an NPP government can transform Ghana and make it rich and prosperous, but said that in order to do so, the Party must be able to stay in power for at least four terms.
Some National Executives, Regional Executives, Constituency Executives, Polling Station Executives, and party stalwarts attended the conference.
Dr. Charles Dwamena, a former Director of Finance and Administration at the New Patriotic Party’s headquarters, is widely expected to be named the party’s next National Treasurer due to his extensive experience in political finance.
