A video of how Dancehall musician Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr, popularly known as Shatta Wale, went on his knees to beg COP Nathan Kofi Boakye, the Director-General in charge of Legal and Prosecution for the Ghana Police Service, after escaping an arrest for breaching protocol during a meeting between stakeholders in the Creative Arts industry and the Police Administration has popped up online.

In the said video, the Shatta Movement boss went on his knees in an attempt to show remorse and to beg COP Kofi Boakye for his (Shatta Wale’s) actions which caused a scene during the meeting.

As reported earlier by InsiderGH.com, the dancehall Musician breached protocol yesterday at the Police Headquarters during a meeting with the IGP and other key members of the Police Administration.

Shatta was reported to have violated the “No Filming protocol” of the meeting which everyone was advised to strictly follow.

According to reports, COP Kofi Boakye ordered for Shatta to be detained for his deliberate attempt to disrupt the meeting.

It took the intervention of those present at the meeting for him not to be arrested.

His attempt to beg COP Kofi Boakye happened after the meeting while he [COP Kofi Boakye] was on his way out of the meeting.
