Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko, a cousin of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has revealed what he thinks will happen in the Parliament of Ghana on the eve of 6th January.
On the said date, Parliament will chose it’s leaders ahead of the swearing in ceremony of the president-elect.
Just as it has always been, the majority side of the house selects the Speaker and other leaders of the house but now that the two major political parties are not able to secure a simple majority, selecting the Speaker seems difficult.
Both the National Democratic Congress and the New Patriotic Party all have 137 seats each in Parliament, with the remaining one seat going to an independent candidate who won the Fomena constituency parliamentary elections.
In anticipation for what will unfold in Parliament, the cousin of the President claims that “a major drawn out drama will unfold at Ghana’s parliament on the night of January 6. One that will keep the entire nation awake all night; a drama like never before.”
He made this known in a Facebook post on his page. In the post, Gabby listed several other things he considered to be “prophecies.”
Some of these include the prosecution of American President, Donald Trump, a by-election in Ghana, leadership fights in the NDC and NPP, tension between Russia and USA with Putin and Biden at loggerheads, and many others.
