Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, the 2020 Running Mate of opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), has joined the very long list of donors who are giving free items to 9-year-old Oswald to mark his school’s our day celebration.
Little Oswald took over the trends after a letter he wrote to his mother, demanding certain things to be bought for him in order to have a memorable Our Day celebration, caught the attention on many Ghanaians on social media.
Little Oswald is a primary 4 pupil of the Christ Ambassadors School of Excellence in Sakaman, Accra.
The letter was posted on twitter by a work colleague of Oswald’s mother and instantly, companies including KFC, Fan Ice Ghana, Blue Band Ghana, Tom Vita Cereals, Samsung Ghana and several others have offered to support the celebration. Media houses covering the event include Joy FM, Pulse Ghana and many more.
Ashesi University also reacted to the letter by offering to give little Oswald and all his mates a tour at Ashesi and try as much as possible to convince Patrick Awuah to meet him.
Access Bank Ghana also offered to open an early saver’s account with a deposit of ¢1,000 for Oswald.
Jumping on the trend, Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang offered to gift Oswald the latest ipad pro. The ipad will be loaded with educational materials as desired by the boy.
Mentioning Prof. Opoku-Agyemang in a tweet, MTN Ghana offered to gift Oswald a free 10GB Data for browsing on his ipad.
Just as she promised, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang delivered on her promise by presenting to little Oswald a brand new iPad pro few hours after she made the promise on Twitter.
