The Head Pastor of the Glorious Word Power Ministry International, Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah has mentioned the name of some prominent figures in his first sermon after his 200,000.00 cedis bail out from the Ghana Police Service.
The atmosphere was full of excitement as the head pastor expressed his gratitude to all those who played various roles in his bail out.
In an earlier remark prior to the sermon, Reverend Owusu Bempah expressed his profound gratitude to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Former President John Dramani Mahama and Lordina Mahama, Martin Adjei Korsah, Sammy Gyamfi, and other people in the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) who despite his constant rebuke sympathized with him while battling the matter.
He also thanked Archbishop Duncan Williams, Archbishop Elisha Salifu Amoako, Bishop Agyeman Prempeh, Rev. Obofour, and other religious leaders.
However, mentioning of names like Former President Mahama, Sammy Gyamfi, and other NDC members who aided his bail out has generated controversies on social media as to whether or not his experience in jail is likely to lead to a possible reconciliation between him and former President John Dramani Mahama.
It also appears as though some bigwigs in the NDC, the party he speaks ill of mostly, have played unimaginable roles in his bail out.
As Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah’s lawyer, Gary Nimako, revealed, NDC’s Edudzi Tamekloe also assisted in filing the defense that got the man of God his bail.
