The registration of New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporters at Kasoa Ofaakor in the Awutu Senya East constituency has been disrupted by chaos.

Theodore Sollo, the Deputy Secretary, was slapped as supporters traded blows at the center on Tuesday, November 16, 2021.

According to Mr. Sollo, they were hoping for a peaceful registration process but three polling station members came to cause chaos.

According to him, the supporters came and aggressively started demanding the registration list, leading to the exchange of blows.

He also revealed that one of the angry supporters identified as Stopper allegedly slapped him for a number times.

The angry supporters also destroyed the documents being used for the registration.

Other executives of the party were reported to have received their fair share of the assault from the angry supporters.

The case has been reported to the Kasoa Ofaakor Division of the Ghana Police Service.
