The NDC Parliamentary Candidate in Techiman South files a case at the High Court of Wenchi. Mr. Christopher Beyere Baasongti is challenging the parliamentary results declared by the Electoral Commission in the Techiman South Constituency.
The NDC in the Techiman South Constiuency came out with an allegation of voter fraud. According to them, their candidate clearly won but was cheated.

Despite their allegations, the Techiman South EC went ahead to declare the NPP Parliamentary Candidate, Martin Korsah, the winner.
According to the NDC, the person declared by the EC as the winner did not really win the election as the EC is making Ghanaians to believe. They trust that their candidate won the election but was cheated by the EC.
The declared NPP candidate, Mr. Korsah was part of the 275 MPs-elect who were sworn into office on January 7, 2021 by the Speaker of the 8th Parliament of the Fourth Republic, Rt. Hon. Alban Kingsford Sumana Bagbin.
The NDC candidate who felt cheated has taken legal actions — he filed a petition at the High Court at Wenchi to challenge the results declared by EC.
The NDC Deputy Youth Organizer in a Facebook post expresses their confidence in winning the case. Mr. Edem Agbana went ahead to note that nobody can stop the decision made by the people of Techiman South,
If his case goes through successfully, and the High Court grants the demands he made in the suit, it is very like that this will definitely change the balance of power in the 8th Parliament of the Fourth Republic of Ghana.
