Kwabena Nsenkyira has recounted how mounting of giant billboards took the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) to opposition in 2008.

According to him, such giant billboards annoy most Ghanaians and is seen as a show of opulence.

He added that, the giant billboards that are springing up across the country today only conveys a negative story about the NPP.

Speaking on Wontumi TV in an interview closely monitored by, Mr. Kwabena Nsenkyira stated that “We don’t have to annoy people. If you have gotten money and you are raising billboards, it tells a lot of negative stories.”

According to him, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have interest in the NPP’s impending conference which is slated for 18th to 20th December.

He alleged that the NDC have set aside funds to get some people they know would worry them in 2024 elections, out of the race.

His comments come after the emergence of several giant billboards of NPP Members who are soliciting for votes in their attempts to lead their party in various capacities.
