The Deputy National Youth Organizer of the National Democratic Congress, Edem Agbana has suggested what he think can be done to ensure that Ministers of State perform up to the expectations of Ghanaians.

According to him, the meticulous vetting process is not enough, and so the signing of performance contracts by Ministers of State must be added.

He went ahead to state that, the performance contract would be something that will be reviewed periodically, and when the review is done, those who fail to meet a defined threshold must be sacked.

“In addition to a meticulous vetting process, Ministers must be made to sign a performance contract. This contract must be reviewed periodically & those who fail to meet a defined threshold be made to vacate their positions,” he wrote on his Twitter page.
