Ghanaian Dancehall musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr popularly known as Shatta Wale has breached protocol earlier this morning at the Police headquarters in Accra during a meeting with the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr George Akuffo Dampare.

This comes after the IGP organized a meeting with people in the Creative Arts industry in the country — Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy and several other celebrities were also invited by the police administration to take part in this meeting.

Information available to indicates that one of the key protocols for the meeting was that there should be no recording of the meeting – the media was therefore asked to stay out of the meeting.

It is reported that in the course of the meeting, the Dancehall star allegedly started filming the proceedings.

One of the police officers present at the meeting was reported to have asked him to stop, which got him infuriated.

Reports available to us indicates that the dancehall Musician allegedly spoke harshly to the police officer in the presence of the IGP and other senior police officers.

Exhibiting an angry mood, Shatta Wale shockingly walked out of the meeting.

According to reports, an order was given for him to be detained but those present pleaded on his behalf.
