Former Constituency Chairman for the Fomena Constituency in the Ashanti region, Kwasi Nti Asamoah has advised the youth against taking a front-seat role in politics in the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
According to him, he became a Chairman at the age of 28 but has lost more than he gained from the political party he laboured for.
He said he relegated his business and focused at ensuring that the NPP wins but he has not gained any benefit from the sacrifices he has made but rather, he has lost several investments taking good care of constituents.
Kwasi Nti Asamoah, however, refuted claims suggesting that he’s left politics but said he is currently focusing on building his business which will give him more returns than politics.
“I’ve not left politics entirely but for now I’m thinking about myself. This is because I’m looking at the number of years wasted in politics. For me anytime I follow something, when it gets to the point where things are getting better, then I’m sacked from it. Any young man I meet I will advise the person not to repeat the same mistake I did.”
