The Chamber of Petroleum Consumers (COPEC) has predicted that petrol and diesel prices will rise by 3.7 percent and 2.5 percent, respectively, in January’s first pricing window.

Ex-pump prices of petrol and diesel are set to rise by 24 and 17 pesewas, respectively, in nominal terms.

In a news release, COPEC stated that consumers could anticipate to pay more for the same product due to an expected increase in the price of fuel products in the first pricing window of January.
