Five Suspected Highway robbers, including one juvenile, have been arrested by the police for robbery at the Ejura Sekyedumase Area of the Ashanti Region

The Police in Ejura on November 16, 2021, arrested four robbery suspects and one juvenile who have been carrying out robbery activities on highways linking Nkoranza and Techiman in the Bono East Region and the Ejura Sekyedumase Municipal area of the Ashanti Region.

After extensive surveillance by the Police Service on their activities, the four suspects, Ajara Sagu, Rashid Ibrahim, Ibrahim Iddrisu and Musah Arijuma, together with a 14-year-old juvenile were arrested.

A spot search conducted by the police led to the recovery of 10 assorted mobile phones, one Infinix charger and a lady’s handbag.

Other items suspected to have been robbed from their victims which were retrieved from them included one unregistered Apsonic motorbike, and an amount of GH¢2,279.00.

According to the Ghana Police Service, a driver, and some of their victims came to identify all the four criminals and the juvenile as the robbers who attacked them on November 15, 2021 at Adiemra.
