The forcing of the Auditor General, Daniel Dormelevo has turned out to be a blessing in million folds for him.
As reported earlier by Insidergh.com, Dormelevo has landed a big job with the European Union. This comes after the President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has forced him to go on a 167 days accumulated leave, after which he directed him to go on retirement, using his age as the basis for his directive.
Information from our credible source at the European Union’s office in Ghana holds that Mr. Dormelevo has been appointed by the European Union as part of the EU’s group of external auditors who monitor and audit EU grants and funding support to outside agencies and countries around the world.
Although the country or EU partner Mr. Dormelevo would be assigned to work with is yet to be confirmed, information from our sources indicates that he is likely to be assigned to audit the roles of EU-Ghana projects, looking at his experience and familiarity with Ghanaian issues.
