Six journalists working with Citi TV, Adom TV and UTV were involved a near-fatal accident on the Akyem Oda-Akyem Asene road.

Although, the six were traumatised by the near-death experience, they escaped unhurt.

The unfortunate accident happened right on the Adim Rive.

It happened on the evening of Wednesday, after the Toyota Matrix they were on board veered off the road to the edge of the bridge.

Reports sighted by InsiderGH.com indicates that the Journalists were returning from Akyem Akokoaso, where they went to cover a press conference for their respective media houses.

The Journalists onboard the vehicle were Neil Nii Kenaku, Eastern Regional Correspondent for Citi FM/Citi TV, Michael Akrofi, Eastern Regional Correspondent for Peace FM, and Jessie Amankwah of UTV.

Kojo Ansah, Eastern regional Correspondent for EIB Network; Kwasi Azor, Eastern Regional Correspondent for Adom FM/Adom TV and Emmanuel Pacome of Daily Graphic were also in board the car that was involved in the accident.
