Reports available to InsiderGH.com indicates that the Chief of Toflokpo Salom, Nene Dadebom Anim II was allegedly arrested, together with several others after a clash between irate youth of Luhuor, near Sege in the Ada West District of the Greater Accra Region and the police over the operation of Electrochem Limited, a private company owned by business Magnate, Daniel McKorley, popularly known as MacDan.

The company has been awarded the contract to manage the Songhor salt mining site , which has generated massive dissatisfaction among natives of the area.

According to a report filed by Daily Guide, several immovable and movable properties were destroyed during the misunderstanding.

One person purportedly sustained gunshot wounds and rushed to a nearby health facility for medical attention during the disturbances.

According to reports, the angry youth initially overpowered private security guards on patrol duty at Electrochem operational area close to the community and injured some after seizing their guns and ammunitions.

Police personnel were quickly dispatched to the scene to restore sanity — the angry youth reportedly attacked the police too when they arrived at the scene.

A police reinforcement team from Tema quickly moved to the site and managed to round up about 40 members of the community in connection with the disturbances.

The Chief of Toflokpo Salom, Nene Dadebom Anim II was also allegedly arrested when surrendering the gun which was seized from the police during the attack.
