The Member of Parliament for the Nhyiaeso constituency, Mr Stephen Amoah has launched a spirited defence for the Akufo-Addo led NPP goverment amid increasing lamentations of hardship across the country.
Mr Stephen Amoah further asserted that both the NPP and NDC must be blamed for the lack of long term solutions to the depreciation of the Ghana cedi.
In his view, the two parties continue to engage in propaganda for the sake of scoring political points instead of collectively developing solutions.
The former CEO of MASLOC further argued that although the cost of living is going high, it will be a huge mistake if Ghanaians decide to replace the incumbent New Patriotic Party (NPP), with the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
“NDC has no alternative policy. The economy was a disater under them. Even teacher trainee allowance which is a pro-poor policy, they could not pay.
“If Ghanaians see the NDC as an alternative, so be it. But I can tell you at all times, looking at the NDC today, they cannot manage the country. This is not about propaganda.
“The NPP have One District One Factory. It may not be 100% but it is far better than the NDC. We also have One Village, One Dam. Even if the dames are thirty, it is better because they [NDC] has none.
