Jamaican dancehall superstar, Anthony Moses Davis, popularly known as Beenie Man, was arrested by National Security operatives few days ago for evading COVID-19 quarantine.
According to information available to InsiderGH.com, Beenie Man tested positive for the dreaded Covid-19 upon his arrival at the Kotoka International Airport last week.
Accordingly, he was sent into mandatory quarantine at the AH Hotel in East Legon by health officials.
Despite the mandatory quarantine, the Jamaican musician managed to leave his hotel room and was seen granting interviews at some media houses and later crowning it with a performance at Stonebwoy’s Bhim Concert.
According to sources, Beenie Man went for his passport after his performance and was detained by Immigration officials at the Airport.
According to multiple reports, he is alleged to have produced a fake clearance certificate from the Ghana Health Service, an act which necessitated investigations Security officials.
