Prof Joshua Alabi, the 2020 campaign manager of opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has revealed that he believes the NDC and former President John Mahama won the 2020 elections.
He claims the Jean Mensah-led Electoral Commission and the state security apparatus conspired to deprive the opposition party of a well-deserved win.
He made these interesting revelations during a meeting with members of the Nungua Traditional Council on Tuesday, November 23, 2021.
Prof Alabi noted during the meeting that he was satisfied with the NDC’s performance, particularly in the Greater Accra Region, where the party won more votes and increased the number of parliamentary seats from 13 in 2017 to 20 in 2021.
The meeting was to purposely extend the NDC’s gratitude to the chiefs and people of Nungua and appreciate them for supporting the party.
He also emphasized his strong intention to continue working hard for the NDC in the run-up to the 2024 elections, in order to bring Former President John Dramani Mahama back to power.
