Milovan Rajevac, the Coach of the senior national team, has on Tuesday, December 21, announced a 30-man provisional squad for the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.

Khlaid Abdul Mumin of Vitoria de Guimaraes and Salis Abdul Samed from French Ligue 1 side Clermont Foot, Maxwell Abbey Quaye from Accra Great Olympics and David Abagna of Real Tamale United are the new faces in the squad.

Five local players have also been included in Coach Rajevac’s squad in preparation for the 2022 AFCON.

Richard Attah of Hearts of Oak, Philemon Baffuor and Abdul Fatawu Issahaku of Dreams FC, David Abagna of Real Tamale United and Maxwell Abbey Quaye of Accra Great Olympics were the local player who were included in the squad.

The squad will begin camping on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 in Doha, Qatar for a 17-day training camp in preparation for AFCON 2022 which kicks off on Sunday, January, 09, 2022.
