A fifty-four-year old retired soldier, identified as Seth Kofi Osei, popularly known as Old Soldier, has been burnt to death at Tamale in the Northern Region of Ghana.
This happened after his motorbike collided with a Leyland cargo truck.
According to our sources, Old Soldier, failed to observe traffic regulations prior to his untimely crash with the stationary Leyland cargo truck.
Old Soldiers motorbike exploded into flames because of the impact of the collision on the fuel tank, which caught fire and burnt the rider, the entire motorbike and the tires of the Leyland cargo truck.
Unfortunately, Old Soldier lost his life — his charred body has been deposited at the Tamale Teaching Hospital for autopsy.
According to Reports available to InsiderGH.com, the incident happened on Friday, October 1, 2021, around 5:15 am.
According to the Ghana Police Service, the deceased was riding an unregistered Apsonic motorbike from Savelugu to Tamale but failed to observe traffic and as a result ran into the Leyland cargo truck.
